Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, California residents have the right to know about, access, and delete their personal information. California residents have the right to opt out of businesses selling their personal information, as well as the right not to be discriminated against for exercising their California privacy rights. Club Penguin Legacy does not sell California users' personal information and does not discriminate in response to privacy rights demands.

Club Penguin Legacy provides notice of our privacy practices in our Privacy Policy. This information may include your name, contact information, and information about your transaction or connection with Club Penguin Legacy; however, the particular information sought may vary based on the circumstances of your request in order to safeguard your security and privacy.

In the last 12 months, any personal information obtained as a result of our platform’s use of cloud services has been sent to third parties that we work with exclusively such as Amazon.

We have also previously posted electronic, audio, and video information on our users on social media networks. We have shared personal information on some of our users who have been terminated from our platform in the last 12 months in response to law enforcement demands and reports.

Data is gathered when you visit our website and register for an account, as well as when you play our platform. For data collecting, we additionally utilize analytics tools, tracking of social media accounts that engage with our official accounts, and third-party services as described in our main privacy policy. 

All data gathered is used to operate our platform, provide our services to you, maintain our products securely, and, with your permission, for marketing reasons.

We employed demographic-based targeting for marketing purposes on social media platforms' advertising capabilities in accordance with California's definition of "sold data." None of the personally identifiable information we acquired directly from users was used in such data sales.

We do not sell any data of users under the age of 16 as defined by the CCPA.

As a California resident, you have the right to see any information that has been gathered about you and utilized for operations or marketing reasons. You also have the right to have your information erased. You or your authorized agent representative can request one of these by contacting us at support@cplegacy.com. We may seek identifying information to confirm your account ownership, and all legitimate requests will be processed within 30 days. Please keep in mind that data deletion requests are subject to legal and protection obligations as described in our main privacy policy and may be partially or completely refused based on your violation history.
