Today, October 24, is Club Penguin's 19th anniversary. We sure are getting old, huh? After some quick decision making, we decided to celebrate with a smaller scale version of Wayback! For this party, the Town, Coffee Shop, Book Room, Dance Club, and Lounge have all been transported to their designs from 2005-2007! Let's take a look at how to make the most of this occasion...

Mascots

Before we begin with discussing mascots, we just want to say that there will be no Island Quests for this party. For a smaller scale celebration, there is really no need to force Island Quests just for the sake of having them. However, there will be plenty for the Halloween Party immediately after this!

Aunt Arctic, DJ Maxx & Gary have decided to join us for the celebration! You’ll also be able to earn some stamps for meeting them! Of course, they will also have giveaways for you to receive. Aunt Arctic will have her Wayback Giveaway from last October, DJ Maxx will have his very first giveaway (his Summer Giveaway) from June 2022, and Gary will have a brand new custom giveaway!

Since this is a shorter celebration, we feel as though it is fair to make every visit scheduled. This will ensure that you are given the best chance possible to meet our beloved guests. Here are the scheduled meetup times for the event:

Wayback Style

Is it November already? Nope! Turns out, there's an entire new Penguin Style catalog available in the Town just for Wayback! This catalog contains an array of items from the first several Penguin Style catalogs to ever release on the original Club Penguin. In other words, it's filled up with all sorts of your favorite classic items! There are also a handful of secrets as well! Be sure to purchase them fast, as mentioned earlier it's only here for this event!

New Unlock Code

In case you missed the announcement elsewhere, we also released a brand new code! It contains the very popular Club Penguin 3rd Year Party Hat! This party hat came from the anniversary where the original game released its official line of toys! So, what better way to remember that occasion than with an all new FULLY custom clothing item: the Old Blue Penguin Plushie!

To unlock this code, log in with your penguin. Then, click the Unlock Items Online icon at the top right. After that, select I've got a Code and enter HAPPY19YEARS. Once you do that, the items should be in your inventory for you to showcase to fellow penguins on the island! The code will be available until the conclusion of Wayback.

Wrapping Up

That just about covers everything! While we would've loved to have a full scale Wayback like previous years, it proved to be too big of a time crunch between Puffles, The Fair, and Halloween. However, thanks to our hard working penguins behind the scenes, we were at least able to give you a smaller but special celebration!

Again, this is a shorter occasion, as it will wrap up on Sunday, October 27. Immediately beginning afterwards will be our third annual Halloween Party, and we can't wait for you to see it! We promise to put the treat in trick-or-treat!
