Stamps & Mascots

First off, there will be no Island Quests for this party. For a party such as this, we feel that it’s best to fully focus on the occasion itself, rather than make it too much of a grind. However, as always, there are stamps to earn! The stamps that you can earn during this party are Celebration and Happy Room!

You’ll also be able to earn a stamp for meeting Aunt Arctic! She will also be giving out a new custom giveaway! To make sure you have the best opportunity to meet Aunt Arctic, here are a couple scheduled meetup times!

Coffee Shop & Book Room

The Coffee Shop is the best spot to be during this party. Here, you can blow out the candles on the cake to earn that Celebration stamp and claim your custom 2nd Year Party Hat! We think you’ll really like the colors of this one!

Now, for the Book Room, remember those side projects Rory was working on? It turns out… one of those projects was renovating the Book Room! This design of the Book Room is here to stay, and we really hope you enjoy it. Up here, you can also take a look at our 2023-2024 Yearbook, with a 2022-2023 one coming soon! Lastly, you can take a look at our first updated Penguin Art Wall in a while. Going forward, new art will be presented every first Monday of the month. To submit your own art, head on over to the wall and click the button!

Lakeside

So, what was Rory’s other side project? Renovating the Lakeside! This new version of the Lakeside will also be permanent, and we hope it makes your time here even more peaceful. In addition to this, new Community Events have been posted for the week, so be sure to check those out! Going forward, new Community Events will be posted every Monday. To submit your own community event, head on over to the board and click the button!

Card-Jitsu Improvements

For some time now, we've been working on improving Card-Jitsu to make it a better experience for everybody. Beginning today, we've implemented the following updates to make gameplay more feasible, with more improvements on the way in the future:

- You will no longer lose any Belt Points for losing a match. The scale is now +1 for winning a match/0 for losing a match, rather than +1/-1.

- You will no longer be penalized if you leave a match due to game issues.

- The point system for Ninja Rank has changed. The scale is now +3 for winning a match/-2 for losing a match, rather than +3/-3.

- We fixed a glitch where those with black belts could not become a ninja despite having the required points to do so.

- All players past penalties have now been reset.

In addition to this, for those who have become a ninja, you can finally explore a brand new location: Tranquil Falls. There, you will uncover the home of the mysterious Zen Puffle! Ninjas can also expect two brand new rewards in the next couple days... We thank you all very much for your patience as we dealt with these issues.

Wrapping Up

That just about covers everything! This party is a short one, as it will only last until Wednesday, May 8. We hope you have a wonderful time. A new Penguin Style catalog should be released very shortly after the party concludes.

We also would like to give a massive thank you to everyone who has supported us over these past two years. There have surely been some ups and downs along the way, but our third year is gonna be huge. Later this month, we’ve got a really fun party planned… we can hardly disguise our excitement!
