Hi Penguins,

With the Summer Kickoff! Event now in full swing, we hope that you’ve been able to keep busy these past few days around the island. From Penguins waiting in great anticipation of Mascot visits to inspiring displays of teamwork while completing Island Quests, it’s been a wonderful sight seeing the island buzzing as we kickoff the summer together.

Although, the Summer Kickoff! festivities won’t be around for much longer, there are still a few things on the horizon that you won’t want to miss out on as we round out this summer-themed event. Including that of a special meetup where both Rory and the giant crab, Klutzy will be paying a visit to the island simultaneously at 12:00 p.m. Penguin Standard Time on July 4th. Then, speaking of July 4th, we’ll be gathering at the Ski Hill later that day to celebrate the 4th of July holiday with a beautiful display of fireworks at 9:00 p.m. Penguin Standard Time.

As far as general island updates go, the Event Board received its weekly update earlier today featuring a bunch of new community-held events. There’s also 10 new amazing art pieces now on display on the Art Wall in the Book Room. Whenever you get the opportunity, be sure to swing by the Book Room to see the work of these 10 talented artists who will have their artwork showcased throughout the remainder of this month.

With that being said, it’s time to introduce an exceptional member of our community as the island’s newest Penguin of the Week. Without further ado, let’s get right into the announcement!

This week’s Penguin truly lives up to their name in spreading joy to everyone around them. Their positive and exuberant attitude lights up any room they waddle into. Recently, you may have seen this Penguin leading the charge in gathering large groups of Penguins to help one another complete Island Quests for the island’s current summer-themed event. Not only have they spent their fair share of time in Town attempting to gather enough Penguins to complete the quests, but they have even gone out of their way to individually walk others through completing them.

Their consistency in being uplifting and supportive of their Penguin peers makes them someone who we can all strive to be. If you happen to see this Penguin in-game, be sure to show them some love for their well-deserved recognition as this week's Penguin of the Week.
