This year’s Halloween Igloo Contest was another successful contest, with around 370 valid submissions! Thank you all for participating. Before we get to the Honorable Mentions and Top 3, we'd like to remind you that every single one of these valid participants will soon receive the "Igloo Architect" stamp for their Stamp Book. This stamp was obtainable by submitting an Igloo that is eligible for the contest by following all the rules and guidelines.

If you submitted an igloo and did not receive a stamp, it was unfortunately because your igloo was not qualified for the contest due to not following the rules and guidelines. If this was the case, do not worry, more Igloo Contests will be arriving in the future!

The Top 3 igloos will receive a special pin that you can showcase on your Player Card and/or Stamp Book. Your igloo will also soon be decorated with a banner to commemorate your wonderful achievement!

Now that all of the basics are covered, let's show our lovely honorable mentions. These are 12 incredible igloos that did not quite reach our Top 3, but still deserved to be shown here on the blog.

Now that we've taken a look at some of the bone-chilling creations of our honorable mentions, it's time to get to the best of the best! We're super excited to share the results with you all, be sure to congratulate these winners if you see them on the island.

Our Top 3 Selection for this Igloo Contest is Yoyo with their Haunted Mansion by the Swamp! This igloo appears to be divided into three different sections. On your left, you'll see the swamp covered with all sorts of plants and trees, clouded by bursts of mysterious mists. Watch out for Swamp Monsters! In the middle, you're greeted with a graveyard (hopefully the dead there is NOT living). Lastly, to your right, you have their take on the Haunted Mansion. Do you dare to enter? Congratulations on your Top 3 spot, Yoyo!

Our Top 2 Selection and runner-up of this Igloo Contest is Yung Jules with their School of Witchcraft and Wizardry! Inside this Eerie Castle, you're greeted with several spots to help yourself become a master of all things magic. Towards the bottom is where you can take your Charms course and gather information from your spell book. At the top is where you'll learn potions and how to create your own! Of course, no school day is complete without fuel, so be sure to stop at the dining hall to grab a bite to eat. Be on your best behavior, or else you may find yourself face-to-face with the headmaster in their office. Congratulations on your Top 2 Spot, Yung Jules!

Drum roll please... our grand prize winner of this year's Halloween Igloo Contest is… wokarden! They call this igloo Ghostly Home! As you make your way through the spooky forest, you stumble upon this estate, and it's occupied by none other than ghosts! Fear not! They seem to be quite pleased to have you for company. Take a seat and partake in a conversation with one of them. As you get to know them and the lovely decor of the place, feel free to have some pieces of candy! Also, what if we told you that this ghostly home isn't an actual igloo, but rather it's crafted out of nothing but furniture. Talk about a big imagination! Congratulations on winning this year's Halloween Igloo Contest, wokarden!
