Our very first Earth Day Party was a huge success! Despite the party and the Igloo Contest only lasting five days, we were able to garner 217 valid entries! Thank you all for participating. Before we get to the Honorable Mentions and Top 3, we'd like to remind you that every single one of these valid participants have now received the "Igloo Architect" stamp for their Stamp Book. This stamp was obtainable by submitting an Igloo that is eligible for the contest by following all the rules and guidelines.

If you submitted an igloo and did not receive a stamp, it was sadly because your igloo was not qualified for the contest due to not following the rules and guidelines. If this was the case, do not worry, more Igloo Contests will be arriving in the future!

The Top 3 igloos will receive a special pin that you can showcase on your Player Card and/or Stamp Book. Your igloo will also soon be decorated with a banner to commemorate your wonderful achievement!

Now that all of the basics are covered, let's show our lovely honorable mentions. These are 12 incredible igloos that did not quite reach our Top 3, but still deserved to be shown here on the blog.

Now that we've taken a look at some of the lovely creations of our honorable mentions, it's time to get to the best of the best! We're super excited to share the results with you all, be sure to congratulate these winners if you see them on the island.

Our Top 3 Selection for this Igloo Contest is urfavvirgo with their Jungle & Garden igloo! You get the best of both worlds in this Earth Day spot. On the top half of the igloo, you're greeted with a whole bunch of fruits, vegetables, and flowers that are all being grown by flipper. On the bottom half, you have giraffes, hippos, and zebras just going about a typical day in the jungle. These two halves are connected by a waterfall and river. Congratulations on your Top 3 spot, urfavvirgo!

Our Top 2 Selection and runner-up of this Igloo Contest is Jempenguin with her CPL Greenhouse! Inside this greenhouse, you can find a handful of plants and practically every type of flower you can find on the island! Care for a cup of tea? Relax on some globe beanbag chairs and take it all in, especially the beams of sunlight that come down from those Tallest Trees. Congratulations on your Top 2 spot, Jempenguin!

Drum roll please... our grand prize winner for the Earth Day Igloo Contest is... keegbee! What a story this igloo has! This igloo is called Humble Homestead, and rather than have me recap it for you, I think I'll just let our winner do the talking. They stated that this igloo is "a small sustainable farm complete with rows of crops, flowers, and other plants/greenery. A little shed at the right to store farming tools and extra plant pots. A small river separates the cropland from the farmhouse patio as well as a grazing area (plus some hay to eat) for some... exotic horses! Farmer penguins can sit in the fenced off area to watch over the horses and enjoy a nice meal made of fresh vegetables from the garden." Congratulations on winning the Earth Day Igloo Contest, keegbee!

If you haven't heard the news, our 2nd Anniversary Party, along with the return of Community Events, the Penguin Art Wall, and Leaderboard rewards are all happening in early May!
