Guess what? We've got some super exciting news to share with you all! For the past few months, our team has been working extra hard on something really special – our very own version of Card-Jitsu! We're so proud of all the work we've put in to make the game even better than before. Get ready for all-new game mechanics, strategies, and gameplay that you've never seen before. And the best part? It's coming your way in just a couple of weeks, along with the Card-Jitsu Party!

We've poured tons of effort into making this party amazing, and we'll have a whole separate blog post just to guide you on how to make the most of it. There are all-new Island Quests, undiscovered rooms to explore, awesome stamps to collect, and both Sensei and Ninja will be hanging out during the party. Don't forget to bring your hot sauce along for the fun!

Now, you might be curious about those funny TV screens scattered around the island. Well, get ready, because we're kicking off the Card-Jitsu celebrations with a mini-live event that will be streamed on our YouTube channel. You can catch the event live on YouTube or in the game on August 18th at 11am Penguin Standard Time!

And guess what? Before the live event, you can join in some super cool trivia and compete for Coins and other rewards. Here's how it works:

How to Play Trivia

One hour before the Live Event starts at 10am PST, you'll get a chance to play trivia with all your island pals. The questions will be based on your knowledge of the original Club Penguin and our version too! When a question pops up during the live broadcast, you'll see another screen where you can pick your answer. The first 15 Penguins to choose the correct answer for each question will earn 100 coins.

And that's not all! Among those first 15 Penguins, you'll also earn scores. These scores will add up, and at the end, you'll get a super cool grand prize. Check out the chart above if you need some help understanding.

Now, hold on to your snow hats, because the top 3 winners of the Trivia will score these fantastic prizes!

Broadcast Drops

Oh, and there's more! During the Live Event, you can score exclusive in-game Drops. Just be in one of the broadcast rooms in the game while watching the live event, and you could get all kinds of goodies – from Coins to awesome items. Check out some of the items you might receive:

But wait, there's a super special surprise too! We're picking 50 lucky Penguins to get a custom, exclusive Value-2 Regular Card-Jitsu Card, just for tuning in to the Live Event. And if you're not one of the lucky 50, don't worry! You can also snag this card by being one of the first 500 Penguins to play Card-Jitsu. We're keeping the design of this card a secret for now – you'll see it when it's time!

Beta Testing

We'll be conducting Beta Testing for Card-Jitsu starting August 18th. The Beta Testers that have been accepted to the program will be sent an invitation shortly after the Live Event, with the full list being displayed during the Live Event. We will be starting with a new batch of Beta Testers due to us requiring availability for this weekend and to reduce our team's workload in having to manually inquire each Beta Tester about their availability during the weekend.

You can apply to become a Card-Jitsu Beta Tester if you meet these minimum requirements:

• Available for a maximum 3 hours anytime during August 18th - 20th
• Level-headed, mature, and able to collaborate in a team environment
• Able to write and file basic bug reports you may encounter regarding testing
• Have a Penguin that is 90 days or older
• No current or previous infractions on your Penguin for the last 6 months‍
