Aunt Arctic's Article #28
Hello, penguins!
Welcome to another edition of Aunt Arctic’s Article. Last time, we took a look at the conclusion of Rookie’s week of performances of The Twelfth Fish, the release of a new Penguin Style, and what lies ahead in the month of February! This week, we’re taking a look at the new Igloo Catalogs, Medieval Party construction, and some further insight with the upcoming party!

Medieval Makeover!
This past Friday, brand new Igloo Catalogs were released in preparation for the upcoming Medieval Party, and it featured tons of new items to get your home ready for the occasion!
The possibilities are endless, you could make a kingdom fit for royalty, a blacksmith’s workshop, a dragon’s cave, a jousting arena, and so much more! The only limit is your imagination!
In addition to this, six new tracks were released to really help set the mood for your new home. I quite enjoy the song “The Royal Court” myself. Be sure to take advantage of these items while you can, they’ll be gone before you know it!
Construction Workers & Blacksmiths Needed!
In addition to the new Igloo Catalogs, construction has officially begun for the Medieval Party. You’ll be able to see it at the Beach, Plaza, Ski Village, Snow Forts, Town and Underground Pool. You can even earn the Construction Stamp by jackhammering in any of those rooms! I even got a chance to speak to everybody’s favorite helper, Rory! Here’s what he had to say:
“This party sure is a big one, especially with what they have planned in the Underground Pool area! That will surely be a hot spot of the party, pun intended. I know many penguins have been wanting to see it return for some time now. The party planning committee just needed to find the time to squeeze into the schedule and that time has finally come! I’ll be visiting throughout the week too, so I’ll need as many construction workers and blacksmiths as possible!” - Rory
The Medieval Party is right around the corner, but until then Rory will need your help making sure everything is good to go! A big thank you in advance to our helpful construction crew working on this party!
What Questions Can Be Answered?
The host of the Medieval Party, Gary the Gadget Guy, has done a rather good job at keeping the contents of the party underwraps until its big unveiling! Thankfully as a certified writer (and dear friend of his) I was able to get some information out of him:
“I do not wish to give away too much, but perhaps I shall leave you with a bit of a riddle. Let’s just say, you cannot spell the word ‘question’ without the main event of this party. I’ll also give you this, there will be plenty of fascinating items for you to collect. This concludes all of the hints I will provide, but I could not be more excited!” - Gary
The Medieval Party is set to begin very soon, stay tuned for any upcoming news regarding it! Like Gary said, I could not be more excited!
Extra Extra!
Ask Aunt Arctic
Dear Aunt Arctic,
Does anybody know why the Aqua Grabber was created and who made it?
- citruscitral
Dear citruscitral,
The Aqua Grabber was created by none other than Gary the Gadget Guy. It was created as a way to explore the depths of the ocean, including its wonderful sea creatures and treasures. Whether it’s the Clam Waters or Soda Seas, there is so much to see when driving that submarine.
That’s actually not the only game Gary played a big part in making, he also invented the Pizzatron 3000 at the Pizza Parlor! In addition to this, he created the Switchbox 3000 at the Stage. He’s got quite the resume, that’s for sure!
With the Medieval Party approaching, I wouldn’t be surprised if we say him whip up another quick gadget or two for the festivities!
Dear Aunt Arctic,
Why does the Iceberg never float away from the island?
- Lagano
Dear Lagano,
That’s an interesting question! I do not know the answer for myself, but that doesn’t mean we can’t come up with our own theories.
I’ve always wondered that perhaps the Iceberg is chained to the ocean floor, preventing it from moving anywhere. I remember Rookie once saying that maybe there’s an invisible force field surrounding it!
I suppose knowing why the Iceberg never floats away isn’t the most important thing here, instead it’s simply important knowing that it doesn’t and that we can always enjoy our parties on the Berg!

Poetry
The Medieval Party is on the way,
Dragons are next to the doorway!
Helping us are the brave knights,
They sure do put up a good fight!
Let’s make sure we defeat the dragons,
And then hop on a party wagon!
- IceyCubes
Flippers tapping on the ice,
Snowball fights are always nice.
Puffles bouncing, colors bright,
Dancing at the club at night.
Hidden secrets, ninja skill,
Sledding fast down every hill.
Waddle on and have some fun,
The party’s only just begun!
