Welcome to another edition of Aunt Arctic’s Article. Last time, we took a look at final celebrations of the Holiday Party and recapped what 2024 had to offer. This time, we’ll be taking a look at what the first month of 2025 had to offer!

Bundle Up!
With there being a little break from parties this month, the Penguin Style catalog this month primarily focused on winter clothing! Here’s what the Gift Shop Manager had to say about this month’s edition:
“We brought out a whole bunch of winter looks. From brand new to other pieces of clothing that had not been for sale for a long time! I personally enjoyed including the vibrant Orange Parka as Outfit of the Month, be sure to grab it while you can!” - Gift Shop Manager
The clothes from this month’s Penguin Style will be available for several more weeks. However, the Outfit of the Month mentioned by the Gift Shop Manager will be departing by the end of next week!
Cozy Abodes!
The winter theme continued into the Igloo Catalogs this month, which were just released this past weekend.
You have two different approaches when presented with the supplies from these catalogs. You could embrace the cold with something such as the lovely Ice Palace with snowy furniture to accompany it. On the other flipper, you could try to warm yourself up with an igloo such as the Log Cabin and some classic items such as the Big Screen TV.
Of course, there are also new tunes to put in your igloo too. You can choose from an array of six of them. I personally enjoy Iggy Life, that song can fit with any igloo really!
Something Fishy Is Going On!
The Stage just debuted a brand new play: The Twelfth Fish! It’s about a Bard, Countess and Jester embarking on a fishing trip together, and it’s quite hilarious! A big reason for this is probably due to the fact that the show was written by none other than Rookie! I even got a chance to speak with him about his writing endeavors:
“I happened to be at the Stage when they delivered the script for this show, and to be honest I couldn’t understand a word of it! It was very ‘old timey’ if you will. So, I decided to rewrite it myself to make it easier to read. I may even have to stop by sometime soon to act it out with fellow penguins! Dibs on playing the Fish!” - Rookie
The Twelfth Fish will be playing at the Stage for several weeks so be sure to check it out while you can. Perhaps we will hear more from Rookie soon!

How do you decorate the outside of your igloo?

Dear Lana,
I see you’re an igloo decorating enthusiast! Now of course, everybody on the island can decorate their home the way that they please. However, igloo decorating does have a huge secret that can enhance igloos even further!
While you’re editing your igloo, if you type the word “builder” you will be able to turn off igloo boundaries. Then, you’ll be able to decorate your igloo in so many new ways!
I hope you’re able to create your dream igloo with this new knowledge!

Dear Eat water,
Do you happen to be the same penguin that asked Rockhopper this question? He told me about you, I thought it was very funny!
I suppose I shall give you my opinion on bagels as well. I think my favorite bagel would have to be the everything bagel, if you can’t ever decide which bagel to eat, that one is perfect! A plain bagel is also great because it’s the foundation of all bagels, so you simply cannot go wrong there. Lastly, this may not technically count but I will say it anyway: pizza bagels! You get a bagel topped by the island’s favorite treat!
I hope my ranking is to your liking! Now I’m pretty hungry…
