Aunt Arctic's Article #23

Hello, penguins!

Welcome to another edition of Aunt Arctic’s Article. Last time, we discussed the brand new Igloo Catalogs, the upcoming return of Captain Rockhopper, and preparations for the upcoming Holiday Party! This week, we take a more in-depth look at what this year’s Holiday Party will have to offer!

Top Stories

Bakery Bash!

If you were a fan of last year’s Bakery in the Snow Forts, you’ll be able to know that it will be returning this year! However, this year there is a slight change to it.

The Bakery will be moving from the Snow Forts to within the Lounge, due to something else apparently taking the spot in the Forts. As for the Bakery itself, all of the fun from last year will return.

If any of you are able to help the Bakery stock up on flour, milk, eggs, and toppings, they would greatly appreciate it. They expect to make thousands of cookies over the course of the party! Rewards will also be given to those who help out!

Sleigh Bells Ring, Are You Listening?

Another fan favorite that is returning this year and is also located in the Lounge is Santa’s Sleigh! However, like the Bakery, there will also be some slight changes to it.

This year, for every present you deliver, you will also earn a small amount of coins. In addition to this, you’ll be able to earn a brand new prize for delivering a certain amount of presents.

Just like the bakers at the Bakery, Santa is going to need as many elves as possible to help him deliver presents to all of the good penguins of the island. If you find yourself with some free time, be sure to help the big guy out!

All Aboard!

As mentioned earlier, a brand new attraction is being unveiled for this year’s Holiday Party. However, I have been told to not give away too much regarding it. Let's just say, if you are a fan of trains and/or toys, you’re going to love what this new activity has to offer. I once again spoke to Rory, and here’s what he had to say:

“This is quite the project, that’s for sure! I think everybody will get a kick out of it. I sure hope they do at least, it could be one of the biggest things I’ve ever worked on! I look forward to discussing more as I make some visits this week.” - Rory

This project, the Bakery, Santa’s Sleigh, and more will all be available at the Holiday Party! If all goes according to plan, the festivities will arrive later this week!

Extra Extra!

Ask Aunt Arctic

Dear Aunt Arctic,

How do you capture the mullet in Aqua Grabber without it escaping?

- PartyGirl365

Dear PartyGirl365,

Capturing that mullet is quite the tall order! Not only is it large in size, but it is also quite agile as well.

There is no official method to that mullet’s madness. However, the best advice I have to offer is to be prepared for anything. Be readily prepared to steer the Aqua Grabber towards any given direction at all times, you never know which direction the mullet may choose next.

Thankfully, the further you go to the net, the more room you have, so the biggest obstacle is definitely getting out of that first spot. I wish you the best of luck!

Dear Aunt Arctic,

Who is your best friend on the island?

- Samwhite567

Dear Samwhite567,

I am very grateful to have made quite a few friends during my time here on Club Penguin Island.

Gary is a notable friend of mine, as we both enjoy discussing island life and ways to improve it. Another close friend of mine is Rockhopper, who is on his way as we speak! We write to each other and talk about our lives on different islands, he’ll even tell me about his exciting travels!

And of course, I enjoy meeting up with all of you when I get the opportunity to. I hope to be able to again soon, as I’ve never been surrounded by such a warm community. That’s saying a lot too, we live in the arctic after all!
