Aunt Arctic's Article #22
Hello, penguins!
Welcome to another edition of Aunt Arctic’s Article. Last time, we discussed the Gift Calendar at the Forest, the return of the Ice Rink, and the newest Penguin Style catalog! This week, we take a look at the upcoming Igloo Catalogs, a sight to see in the Beacon Telescope, and preparations for the upcoming Holiday Party!

Deck the Halls!
It wouldn’t be the holiday season without some home decor of course! Coming this week, brand new Igloo Catalogs will be unveiled, along with some festive music. I spoke to a fellow igloo enthusiast to see what they had to say:
“I think Halloween and the Holidays are just about everybody’s favorite time of year for Igloo Catalogs. Whether you’re an avid igloo creator or not, many penguins can agree that decorating your home for the holidays just really gets you excited for the festivities. This catalog is gonna have all sorts of classics to get you ready for the big celebration!”
The new Igloo Catalogs and music will be releasing later this week! Be sure to grab your trees, wreaths, stockings, and as many lights as you can!
Land Ho!
It appears that everybody’s favorite pirate is making his way back to the island for the festivities! I wouldn’t have even known myself if it weren’t for the flock of penguins rushing their way to the Beacon. I eagerly spoke to them as they were catching their breath from darting up those Lighthouse stairs:
“I’m so excited to hear Rockhopper is coming back! His adventurous energy brings such a fun vibe when he visits. I hope he has some cool stories to share with us, I’m always on the edge of my seat hearing those!”
Rockhopper is expected to dock his Migrator at the Beach later this month, right in time for the Holiday Party! Just another reason you won’t want to miss out on the celebration!
Holiday Happenings!
Speaking of the Holiday Party, preparations have slowly been spreading throughout the island! On the first of the month, the Gift Calendar was unveiled at the Forest. Meanwhile, this past Friday, the Gift Shop was decked out entirely for the release of the Penguin Style. I decided to have a chat with everyone’s favorite construction worker: Rory!
“The Holiday Party is a fan favorite for sure. I think we may be unveiling even more construction for it later in the week. I can’t say exactly what the plans are, but I think everyone will be happy with the final result. I may even decide to make a couple of visits to end the year…” - Rory
If you have a hard hat, be sure to help out once the construction goes underway! Rory advised me that Mining Helmets are always available in the Cave Mine.

Ask Aunt Arctic
Dear Santa,
I would like 100 candy pizzas for me, colored pencils for my Orange Puffle’s box, a jetpack for my Green Puffle, two science kits for my Brown Puffle, and two mullets for my two pet crabs. Thank you!
- Buddily
Dear Buddily,
I’m afraid you have the wrong penguin! This is Ask Aunt Arctic, not Ask Santa. However, I hear he is always eager to hear what penguins around the island want for the holidays.
I’d provide you with his contact information, but I sadly do not have it! Hopefully you’ll be able to uncover it somewhere.
Your list sounds wonderful, and I hope you and your pets get everything they wish for!
Dear Aunt Arctic,
What is your favorite activity to do during the holidays?
- Amorcito28
Dear Amorcito28,
This is quite the difficult question to answer! The holidays are filled with so many fun activities, where do I even begin?
I enjoy baking cookies, singing carols, and giving gifts. Perhaps my favorite Holiday activity is to read a nice holiday book to my puffles in our cozy igloo by the fire.
That’s what is so nice about the holidays, there’s so many joyous things to do, it’s practically impossible to find yourself bored!
