Aunt Arctic's Article #21

Hello, penguins!

Welcome to another edition of Aunt Arctic’s Article. Last time, we sat down with Sensei to discuss all things Card-Jitsu. This week, we’re discussing gift giving, the return of a favorite room, and an upcoming Penguin Style catalog!

‘Tis the Season to Give Gifts!

It’s the wonderful month of December, which means the Holiday season is officially here! We’re kicking it off with an island-favorite tradition, the Gift Calendar! Throughout the month of December, 30 different free items will be given out. I spoke to a member of the planning committee to see what they could tell us:

“This year’s Gift Calendar is going to be great! It has a little bit of everything. We made sure to include both the return of some long-awaited items and entirely brand new items. We’re pretty confident it’s going to be another huge success!”

The Gift Calendar will be located in the Forest, and you can check it out throughout the entire month!

The Return of the Rink!

After six months of soccer at the Stadium, it’s now time for hockey to once again take the spotlight with the return of the Ice Rink! I already managed to catch a few hockey players gearing up for the season, and here’s what a member of the Blue Team had to say:

“Soccer is a fun sport, but for me hockey is where it’s at! I’m very excited to get back out on the Rink with my teammates. There’s even going to be a new Snow & Sports catalog, even with some new items! I can’t wait!”

The Ice Rink will be returning this week and shall remain on the island for the next several months. Best of luck to everybody competing in their own games of hockey!

Rockin’ Around the Gift Shop!

A new month of course means a new Penguin Style is fastly approaching! This month’s catalog is all about the Holiday season. Let’s see what a member of the Gift Shop staff had to say about the upcoming release:

“This catalog has all of the Holiday classics. Santa Suits, Elf Suits, costumes, new items, and more! The December edition of the Penguin Style is always one of my favorites, and I hope everybody enjoys what this year’s catalog has to offer.” - Gift Shop Clerk

The new Penguin Style will be releasing sometime this week, so keep your eyes peeled on the Gift Shop!

Ask Aunt Arctic

Dear Aunt Arctic,

Can puffles return to the wild?

- Mooshie

Dear Mooshie,

Yes, puffles can return to the wild. However, if you’re a good caretaker, then you should have nothing to worry about.

Puffles will return to the wild if they are left unattended for a stretch of time. As long as you are consistently providing them with food, cleaning, playtime, and sleep, then your puffle will never want to leave the comforts of your care!

As always, you can collect anything you need to take care of your puffle right in the Puffle Catalog located in the Pet Shop.

Dear Aunt Arctic,

Are you planning on becoming a ninja or have you already?

- miloud4

Dear miloud4,

My schedule is quite busy to include time for becoming a ninja. However, I have made my way up to the Dojo to play a match of Card-Jitsu from time to time.

It can be intense, but also very rewarding! I’m not so sure how so many penguins are able to become ninjas so quickly. We sure have a lot of determined individuals on our island!

Perhaps one day I’ll be able to set aside enough time to earn my Black Belt and join fellow ninjas in the Ninja Hideout. I hope you’ve found great success in your ninja journey.

Poems

Club Penguin is really neat,

The kind of place that can’t be beat.

Walk around on cold webbed feet,

Make some friends on icy streets.

Squawk a lot, and flap your wings,

Enjoy the adventure this place can bring.

Dig in the mines, hear that ka-ching,

Heart in heart, and wing in wing.
