Aunt Arctic's Article #19
Hello, penguins!
Welcome to another edition of Aunt Arctic’s Article. Last time, we interviewed the highly intelligent Gary the Gadget Guy on the happenings of the Halloween Party. This week, we will take a look at new catalogs and plans regarding a popular card game…

Fall Fashions!
Last week, a new Penguin Style catalog was unveiled. The time around, the theme appeared to be both casual and fall clothing! I spoke to an employee who oversaw the catalog and this is what they had to say:
“We haven’t had a ‘casual’ clothing catalog in quite some time, so it was a nice change of pace. We also love getting ideas from local penguins, which is what led us to bring back some caps, letterman jackets, and even backpacks, the latter two in brand new colors!” - Gift Shop Clerk
The new Penguin Style is out now at the Gift Shop! Penguins have also been saying there are a lot of classic backgrounds to collect as well, so you won’t wanna miss any of it!
Home Improvement!
In addition to a new Penguin Style catalog, brand new Igloo Catalogs are also on their way! Based on what I’ve been able to gather thus far, it would seem that these catalogs are taking on a similar route to that of the clothing catalog. I was briefly able to have a chat with none other than Rory, everyone’s favorite construction worker!
“These new Igloo Catalogs are all about the fundamentals: living room, kitchen, and more! Even the music is nothing but classics! If you’re an igloo enthusiast, I highly suggest you take advantage of this opportunity while it lasts, because it happens less often than you think!” - Rory
The new Igloo Catalogs will be arriving very soon. In addition to this, so will the announcement of the recent Halloween Igloo Contest results. I hear there was a high number of submissions, so it’s taking them a touch longer than planned!
An Ancient Art Getting Some Changes!
The ancient art of Card-Jitsu is a rigorous one, and in fact, for many penguins it’s proven to be too rigorous. For over a year now, many penguins have wished for some changes to the game high up in the Dojo, and it seems like they are on the way. I spoke to the penguin behind it all: Sensei!
“Card-Jitsu and Card-Jitsu League have shown themselves to be quite the tall order for students. After some time, I have decided to make some changes to the way penguins progress through their Ninja journey. In addition to this, I also plan on unveiling some new participation rewards and even a small event to celebrate. I look forward to seeing you all again soon.” - Sensei
You heard here first, folks! It seems that Sensei is cooking up something fun for students and Ninjas! Before we concluded our talk, I asked him when we can expect all of this to occur, and he hopes for it to happen sometime this week!
Extra Extra!
Ask Aunt Arctic
Dear Aunt Arctic,
How do I meet Captain Rockhopper?
- LCOO
Dear LCOO,
Captain Rockhopper is often very busy with his adventurous life out on the seven seas. However, every now and then, he finds himself docking his beloved Migrator on the island for a visit. You’ll be able to see his boat at the Beach when he arrives. Keep your eyes peeled for a swarm of penguins during that time frame, because that could indicate that he’s waddling around!
The last time Rockhopper visited was actually fairly recently, speaking of Fair, it was during that exact party in October! He usually heads towards Club Penguin Island every few months or so. However, I hear he may try to make one last visit before the year comes to a close…
I wish you the best of luck as you try to meet our beloved pirate!
Dear Aunt Arctic,
If there’s a place where you just want to sit and relax, where would you recommend?
- Pummpkinn
Dear Pummpkinn,
Thankfully on our snowy island, there are many places to decompress to try and get away from it all! My personal favorite spot is the Book Room. Nothing makes me happier than to cozy up and read a good book. I also enjoy lounging in my igloo as well, especially when I wish to just be on my own.
Based on what I’ve heard from other penguins, many enjoy sitting at the campfire down by the Cove as well. An underrated lounging spot is the Lakeside, I do enjoy sitting at those tables and watching the fish go upstream!
I hope I was able to provide you with enough relaxation spots. This island has a lot of fun activities, but rest is also very important for our health, so I’m quite pleased that you asked this question!
