Aunt Arctic's Article #17

Hello, penguins!

Welcome to another edition of Aunt Arctic’s Article. Last time, we discussed The Fair, a new Penguin Style, and the upcoming Halloween Party. This week, in addition to further discussing the latter, we’ll take a look at the new Igloo Catalogs and a peak into something special happening this Thursday!

Top Stories

New IglOoOoO Catalogs!

This past Friday, brand new Igloo Catalogs were released on the island. The theme of them being, you guessed it, Halloween! Fan favorite igloos such as the Jack O’ Lantern are back, along with a whole bunch of furniture to get you prepared for the spooky season!

It’s been some time since the last igloo catalogs came out, so penguins in charge of crafting the catalogs decided to include a whole lot of new furniture for Halloween. I can understand why it can be an igloo decorator’s favorite time of year.

Here’s a tip when it comes to Halloween igloos! When the Halloween Party arrives, it would be very helpful to have a Trick-or-Treat igloo ready. If you visit 10 of them during the party, you’ll earn a stamp! The stamp is only available once a year during the party.

Mascot Mayhem!

The Halloween Party is fast approaching, but I think we may be in for a little mini event before that even happens! At this time of year in 2022 and 2023, the island went back in time to see all sorts of parties from many years ago. However, with the tight schedule of the current party planning, a celebration of that scale was put on hold this year.

However, myself and two other penguins have come together and are planning for a fun day ahead…

“If my calculations are correct, it will be quite a joyous time.” - ????

“I’m definitely in! We totally need to make some sweet tunes too.” -??????

Stay tuned for further updates and prepare yourself for a day to remember this Thursday!

An Important Message From Gary!

Hello, penguins. Aunt Arctic has been kind enough to let me write out my own story for her article. I do not want to overstay my welcome, so I will make this as brief as I can.

This year’s Halloween Party will feature the long awaited Haunted Mansion. My Great Uncle Gariwald’s mansion to be exact! He was quite the accomplished penguin, but again I wish to make this brief. I’m going to need a sizable group of brave penguins to help explore the mansion and uncover its secrets. The amount of anomalies in there is a scientist’s dream, so it should be quite entertaining!

I look forward to seeing any volunteers there. I will also be visiting all around the island during this year’s Halloween Party, which of course I also look forward to.

Extra Extra!

Ask Aunt Arctic

Dear Aunt Arctic,

What’s the best way to get penguins to join you in activities? An example being gathering penguins together to dress up in Halloween costumes.

- stinkyalert

Dear stinkyalert,

Rounding up a bunch of penguins together to accomplish the same goal can be quite difficult at times! Thankfully, there is a solution to your problem!

If you head on over to the Lakeside, south of the Plaza, you’ll notice a nice big Event Board. Waddle on over to it, and you can submit your very own community event for penguins to enjoy!

You will be asked several questions, with the most important one being the time of the event. Make sure it is in Penguin Standard Time! If you need help with any time conversions, be sure to check out the Clock Tower at the Snow Forts.

I wish you the best of luck as you plan your events!

Dear Aunt Arctic,

I’ve heard there is a rainbow puffle. If that’s true, how do we adopt one?

- swordfiish

Dear swordfiish,

A rainbow puffle? That’s quite the rumor!

Unfortunately, I do not believe that rainbow puffles have not yet been discovered. The closest thing you can get is adopting all 10 puffles, though that is quite the responsibility!

I wouldn’t rule it out though, perhaps one day we’ll be able to find them. After all, Puffle Handler is quite good with all things puffle related!

Poetry

In icy lands where penguins play,

Club Penguin Legacy lights the way.

With snowy slopes and friends so near,

A world of joy, adventure, cheer.

From igloos built with care and pride,

To secret places where we slide.

Though time may pass, we’ll never part,

Club Penguin lives within our heart.
