We are hard at work making sure that our next big update, which of course is both Puffles and the Puffle Party, goes as smoothly as possible. We have made significant progress! While Puffles won't be available this month as planned, you will be reunited with your cuddly friends by September. We will keep you posted on a more specific time frame.

‍

The good news is, we have multiple sneak peeks to share with you in regards to the progress we’ve been making and have another fun announcement that will hopefully keep a lot of you busy while you continue to be patient.

Pet Shop

You may have heard this in a recent edition of Aunt Arctic’s Article from none other than Puffle Handler herself, but the Pet Shop is getting a complete makeover! Here’s a sneak peek:

Our goal when conceptualizing this new Pet Shop was to make it less bare, while also not making it seem too cluttered. We don’t want to give away too much more, but when we launch it we’ll be sure to tell you more about it!

Puffles

Some of you may be aware of this already, but in the original Club Penguin, there were two different puffle designs. The first of which lasted from 2005 through 2011, and the second lasted from 2011 through 2017. When picking which design we wanted to base our puffles off of, we decided to go with the newer one.

‍

There were several reasons as to why we chose this design, but in the end it came down to two things.

‍

1. The second design of puffles were much better at making each species of puffle stand out from one another.
2. The Puffle Care Interface was far more interactive and created a much more fun experience taking care of your puffles.

‍

Puffle Party

Lastly, there is the Puffle Party! Several rooms are all ready to go, with more currently being in progress. Like Puffle Handler said, each species of puffle will have their own “domain” on the island during the party. Along with this, there will be general decorations as well.

‍

What else is great about this party? I suppose I can say just a couple things. One, there’s going to be quite the amount of Island Quests for this one. Two, Puffle Handler is going to have a very special new giveaway. It quite honestly is one of the most unique mascot giveaways that will ever be given out.

‍

The Puffle Party is going to be a blast! Get it? Like, as in PSA Blast, the first puffle to ever exist? No… Well, the party will be far better than my humor. Let’s talk about the final section of this blog post…

Puffle Igloo Contest

Now, here’s some good news! We thought it would be a good idea to help the wait go faster with another Igloo Contest!

‍

From now until Wednesday, September 4, you will be able to submit an Igloo that you think best captures what the theme of this contest is. Of course, we will be going over everything in detail. Let’s just say this will be a great opportunity to prepare your home for your new companion(s)!

‍

As always, this contest will be judged by us, the Club Penguin Legacy Team. There will be three top contestants for this igloo contest. In addition to this, there will be 12 honorable mentions that we will also showcase right here on the blog.

‍

Here are the details and submission guidelines for this contest:

‍

• One submission per penguin
• Must submit by Wednesday, September 4
• Must follow the theme of the contest
• Unlimited furniture quality
• Turning off igloo boundaries is allowed

‍

The Theme

The theme for this contest is simply all things Puffle! We recently just released brand new Igloo Catalogs that are FILLED with tons of puffle related stuff! Do you make your very own Pet Shop? A Puffle playground? A shrine for your favorite species of puffle? The only limitation is your imagination!

‍

You are free to use any igloo you wish as long as you believe you can link it to the theme. The only limit here is your creativity and imagination!

‍

To access the submissions, simply head on over to your igloo and click the golden igloo icon that’s located right above the igloo builder icon. From there, you will be given step-by-step instructions on how to successfully submit your igloo to the contest. Be sure to carefully read the guidelines and make sure your igloo follows all of the guidelines!

The Rewards

Those who earn a spot in the Top 3 of the Igloo Contest will receive our exclusive and animated Igloo Contest Award Pin! Did you know that there are currently only 15 players with this pin? Well, you could join them! Feel free to showcase it on your Player Card and/or Stamp Book if you win!

‍

The Top 3 will also receive a cool banner permanently displayed in their igloo, signifying that you made it to the top of this Igloo Contest.

‍

Lastly, all eligible entries of the Igloo Contest will receive the Igloo Architect stamp for simply creating and submitting an igloo that meets all of the guidelines. You do not have to be in the Top 3 or receive an honorable mention to earn this stamp!
